Thank you for taking the time to look at my images.
I hope that you will find my work pleasing and would be interested in displaying it in your home, office, or wherever you feel it can be enjoyed.
I have been interested in photography since I was at teenager and taking and sharing pictures has been a satisfying lifelong activity.
Although being a photographer never was a full time job, Iíve had a lot of opportunities to use my interest in it for reward. Supplementing my college expenses as a photographer for campus publications, freelancing, and documenting information relating to my employment, has helped me financially sustain my interest in capturing images for pleasure.
Landscape, wildlife, and still life are my major areas of interest. I like to create images that are faithful representations of what I saw when the image was captured.
Using digital photography, I am able to create images that are far superior than what could be done in the darkroom. My goal is to produce sharp, crisp, well saturated images; unless the scene or subject dictate a more subtle look. I try to keep enhancements to a minimum, but on occasion doing some manipulation creates the effect I desire.
Now that I have retired and have a chance to travel more extensively, a new world of opportunity has opened.
